why are people efficient in dispersing edible fruits?

We deliberately plant fruit trees, and our transportation system sends edible fruits around the world (ever been to a Farmer's Market and seen fruits from other countries?). In general, we do not eat the seed (the pit) inside the fruit so the seed can germinate once the fruit is eaten.
