Arcoxia is far from being a routine anti-inflammatory and is not licensed for use in anyone under the age of 16 years. This specific group Cox 2 drugs have been linked with heart attacks and are now never used as first line choices. The general rule of thumb has become "smallest possible dose for the shortest possible time." They are rarely used long term and then often only by specialist practitioners. They are of course prescription only drugs and since no GP would prescribe them for him, I assume you were contemplating giving him yours. There is a very wise general rule that EVERYONE should stick to for ALL medication, it should only be used by the person it was prescribed for, and then only as directed.

Arcoxia is only indicated for use in patients with arthritis. As I'm reasonably sure your 14 y/o son is most likely suffering from musculo-skeletal back pain, he would not be a good candidate for this medication. He would be better served with Naproxen, or ibuprofen or possibly paracetamol. If the muscle spasms are severe a short course of muscle relaxants could be provided after evaluation by your GP.

As a rule never give anyone else your prescription medications. You could cause serious harm, as you have not been trained in all the possible risks of the medications in under age patients.
