To learn, to share, to stimulate my brain, to enjoy the opportunity to communicate with people from all over the world. As to why I hang out in Religion & Spirituality specifically, it is the one place that most of my knowledge and experience applies. I was brought up a Christian, was a philosophy major in college, specializing in ethics. I studied many different religious beliefs over the years. Then I was a witch and pagan priestess for some 25 years, and now I am an atheist. That's a lot of rather unique experience and insight to share.

My hope is to shed light on the subject of faith in God. Many of the people who come on line here are soul searching for truth. And don't know where to turn to find it. If I can even provide a glimpse of hope for someone who feels lost then my time here is well spent.
If I want support for my beliefs, this would not be the place to find it. My support lies in my relationship with Jesus Christ; through fellowship and the Word. "The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the Lord does valiantly. the right hand of Lord is exalted. The right hand of the Lord does valiantly. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord."

Just that some of the questions, as well as the answers are interesting,,,And a few really want honest help, so they take the chance of being scorned upon. And I like to answer 'some' questions also.

to learn, I am not good enough to be a Christian. I do not like to see people make fun of them because they have something most of us don't. I don't like to see people make fun of anyone,Muslim, Jew, Hindu, or whatever. I wonder what if feels like to have something you believe in.
