In principle it sounds OK, however you may discover the main drawback down some dark alley one night (when the Russian Mafia, who supplied the bride, decides they want to be paid one way or another).

Not so easy to do.
First, most existing debt is the responsibility of the person that signed the contract establishing the debt.
Second, under Immigration Law if you bring a Fiance into the USA for marriage and then divorce her. YOU are financially responsible for her for TEN YEARS from the date of her Conditional Residency Card being issued. That is TEN YEARS of financial responsibility, whether or not you stay married to her!
So much for "reducing" your debt!

I don't know about the legal end of it, but I can sure say that would be a real dick move. Why don't you try filing for bankruptcy? That way you don't screw somebody you vowed to love and cherish forever. Let's not forget the costs of marrying a mail-order bride, legal fees for the divorce, crushing remorse for destroying a woman's life over money, etc... Go file for bankruptcy.

yeah... she cant absorb your debt its stil legally yours. They only beenfit to marrying is that she cant be penalized for your debt: that does help a smidge.
But since you're obviously a dick, you're going to have trouble finding a bride to suffer you. long distance courtship costs big money, flights and phone calls and all. When they find out you are broke they'll leave you anyway.
Think you just need to suck it up, cut up some cards and sell some stuff.
