pura aguila: I know and I didn't state otherwise, you just asumed. I know about many religions, I studied probably more religions than you even heard about, so it's not like I think christianity is the only one, I'm just interested how PEOPLE (not the religion) see the idea of heaven and hell

No, I don't. I think the myth began as a control mechanism of the priests, to threaten with punishment or bribe with rewards. Remember that a Catholic priest does not only forgive sins OR NOT, but holds the threat of excommunication. This is nominally the Pope's power, but in practice it is the local priest or perhaps bishop who uses the threat.
Then remember that there was no Christianity except Catholicism in Europe and most of the rest of the western world for over 1000 years.
What happens when you die? Listen to "And When I Die" by Blood, Sweat and Tears.
"And when I die
And when I'm dead, dead and gone
They'll be one child born in the world
To carry on."

No, I don't. At least, I don't believe in the version presented by the christians. I see no evidence of any sort of supernatural god, so there's no reason to believe in all the trappings that go with him.
If you want to stick with just the real world that we're in now, then there is certainly a heaven and hell. Heaven would be basically a great life - great family, great friends, job, environment, health, etc. Hell would be the opposite - imagine the people who just irk you, who make you upset just to see them. Then imagine a dozen of them around you every day, all day long, and you'd start getting close to my idea of hell.
I think the myth of heaven and hell came about as an incentive to control or at least influence people's behavior, once the idea of religion and an afterlife was conceived.
And I think that when I die, I die. I don't have a "spirit" or "soul" to live on after me. Memories of me may live on, as will things that I've created or written, but those will fade in time. I'm OK with that - it has happened to billions already. After all, do you know any detail about your grandfather's grandfather? Yet do you think that your not knowing diminishes his life at all?

I don't think there IS a heaven because what is heaven anyway? people interpret heaven differently you know? if alcohol is a sin and sex is a sin, so what about eating meat? that's killing animal is that a sin? so if heaven is a state nothing which means once you get into heaven it is nothing but a space, because materials means greedy and that's a sin so there mustn't any of that either, meaning no food, no drink (we don't even need it) no materials of any kind, then what is there left but just the human there wandering around?
is that "heaven"?

Let me answer your question about hell first. Despite rumors to the contrary, hell is still a doctrine in Catholic theology. One who purposely rejects God chooses not to enjoy an eternity of friendship with the Lord. This is the basic notion of hell - cutting oneself off from God.
The existence of hell or separation from God is very real. However, what form hell assumes or in what manner a damned person will suffer, is open to debate. No one has come back to report the temperature in hell. And no human can judge whether another is damned.
Theologians suggest that hell be seen as a state of total rejection of God. Like heaven, it is not a place and is not subject to time.
"Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known No one knows exactly what heaven will be like but Holy Scripture and Church teaching do give us some idea of the great joy which awaits us. What we do know is that
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9; Isaiah 64:4, NIV).
The greatest joy of all will be our ability to see God Himself as He really is.
." (1 Corinthians 13:12, NIV)
We will also be able to enjoy the company of Jesus in His humanity, with Mary His (and our) mother, Saints Peter and Paul, and with all the saints in heaven; including those of our personal families who have been judged worthy.

Yes. To go to hell (which is a place of eternal torment and punishment), you don't have to do anything, in that every unbeliever is going to go there. To go to heaven (which is a place where there is no sin or pain), you must repent of your sin from now until you die and believe (commit your life to) in God (Christ Jesus).
