what is your ethnic background?

My ethnic background is that my mom is 100 percent chilean.My dad his roots are from switzerland and norway and germany .

What is yours?

I may look 100% gringo, but in reality, I'm only 90%. The remainder is apache indian. Cochise and Geronimo have my eternal thanks for the hairline that will never recede.

My Mom's side of the family is German-Swiss and my Dad's side of the family is mainly French but they're are so multibred that it's insane. Everyone in that family has a different background it seems. other than French, there is Scandinavian (my dad claims to be descended from Leif Erikson), Norweigian, Finnish, Swedish, Irish, and Native American tribes (my dad's grandpa was Native American but we don't know what tribe).
I am 100% proud of my German heritage because that's what makes me up mostly, it is only about 40% but compared to all of the mixed things that are so vaguely mixed in me, my German blood is most viewable so I have been living up to it by learning German, german culture, and have been even planing to someday move to germany.

I am Australian, so was both Mum and Dad. Mum background is England and Scotland, Dad is the same. Husbands background is England and Germany.

I'm a bit of a mix; on my mom's side, I'm largely Scots-Irish, with a bit of Dutch thrown in. My father's side includes a lot of French and German ancestry. In addition, both sides have ancestry from native American tribes, specificially Choctaw, Cherokee, and Chickasaw. I also have Jewish and other middle eastern ancestry :-)

My Dad's fully Chinese but our anscestors came to Taiwan during the 19th century from Hong Kong to avoid the British, while my mom comes from Taiwan, her anscestors came to Taiwan during the end of the Qing Dynasty from Fujian. I'm pure Filipino and I think I have traces of Spanish blood cuz I heard my mom mention about her parents/aunts/uncles saying that they have traces of Spanish blood.
