I'm afraid that anything sniffing of the occult is likely to get the thumbs down from most Christians. Utterly condemned in Scripture.

Thumbs up and thumbs down are just another way of expressing your own opinion. An atheist might give a thumbs down to a really poor Christian answer. A Christian might give a thumbs down to an atheist he seriously disagrees with. It's very important not to worry about it too much when you're on the receiving end. The number of people from any group varies wildly during the day and the responses you get often reflects that fact more than the merit of your answers. My advice is write the best answers you can and don't pay any attention to how others respond. If you read something you like, give it a thumbs up. If you read something you hate, nail 'em with a big thumbs down. This is a totally anonymous public forum and nothing that happens here ever really means anything, either way.

I get thumbs down, emails, and violation notices from a range of peoples. I do not care...... I support the under dog in the fight. I do not care what people believe in, that is their choice and it is protected by the US consitiution, If you wish to ask a question about christinans, muslims, wiccans, atheists, jews, animal lovers or gayes (whatever) then ask it and have a conversation. But when you say someone is stupid, for believing what they do, then I speak up.
Freedom of religion, and freedom of speech is not limited to those who think like I (or you) do. You can disagree without ridicule or insult.
If you save hundreds of dollars, or tens of dollars, doesn't make my pennies less valuable.

It happens. I give thumbs down to answers that I don't like either. Not usually because it's a Christian answer, but usually because I don't think the answer is a good one.

Heck, I've gotten thumbs down for answering a Catholic question correctly (re: what to say during confession), and those thumbs down could really only have come from OTHER CHRISTIANS. It's very sad.

Sorry, but with a name like Satan, it's not suprising.
Just so you people with the itchy thumbs know, I'm one of those people who doesn't give a sh*t if I get thumbed down. So carry on. Keep the thumbs down coming.

How can you tell the beliefs of the people giving either thumbs up or thumbs down? Just speak your peace peaceably, and let the chips fall where they may.

Just a thought, but for going around into different Christian topics, ridiculing them, and scoffing at their beliefs, you certainly seem sincerely distressed that everyone doesn't accept you with loving, open arms. Cynicism is a sign of mental illness you know?

Probably not near as many as there are Christians who get "Thumbs Down" just because we mention God or Christ. But that's OK. Deny what you will, and may God bless you.
