We can eat rose petals because a rose is an edible flower but egg shells no unless they are smaller then a grain of salt or about the same size i doubt it.

I have made this. It is very easy to make and very good.

Rose Petal Jam

1 batch

1 cup fresh rose petals (must never have been sprayed with any chemicals)
3/4 cup water
1 lemon, juice of (1/4 cup)
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 package pectin (ie. Sure Jell)
3/4 cup water

1. Puree rose petals, 3/4 cup water and lemon juice in blender until smooth.
2. Slowly add sugar.
3. Blend till all sugar has dissolved; (leave in blender) Stir 1 package pectin (ie. Sure Jell) into 3/4 cup water, bring to a boil, and boil hard for 1 minute. Pour mixture into blender with rose petal mixture until well blended.
4. Do this very quickly - it sets up FAST!! Pour into baby food jars.
5. Let set for 6 hours, till firm.
6. Will keep one month in refrigerator.
7. Freezes well.

Rose petals? Yes, you can frost them by dipping them in egg white and caster sugar and drying and make things like rose water, jam and syrup.

Egg shells? Yes, but why would you want to? Still grounded to a fine powder they make a good calcium supplement for birds.

Egg shells are covered in salmonella, I guess you could eat them if you washed the first. I've never tried rose petals, but apparently their edible.

egg shells are not edible. They are good however to add to a compost heap, I make a wall around my plants with crushed shells to deter slugs, snails and caterpillars.

Egg shells can also be used in making crafts.... egg shell mosaics after Easter with colored shells.... tulips by placing a green pipe cleaner carefully through the bottom of 1/2 shell. Place a piece of Styrofoam in an empty cottage cheese container that you have decorated to use as a flower pot.. place the tulip flower in the "pot".. paint egg shell flower desired color. Kids love making these two crafts.

Rose petals are definitely edible. Not sure about egg shells, I think that they're inedible and I'm pretty sure that they're not good for you and won't be easily digestible...

Rose petals, as long as they aren't sprayed with insecticides or covered with aphids, are good. Ground egg shells aren't a good idea.....check with your doctor first if you're insistent on eating them.
