Look around you. Do you see any evidence for a god? I sure don't.

What evidence do we have?
Why, look no further than the tip of your nose, my friend. He made you with great love and care.
What evidence do we have of the wind, the air, or the sky? They are all there.
What evidence do we have that the ocean is blue? If you try to cup some of it in your hand, it looks clear!
What evidence do we have that atoms exist? They are simply too small to see!
He who causes the sun to burn, the earth to turn, and the electrons to move, He is there. If God has such power, why would it be impossible for Him to take tangible form? With such power, why would it be impossible for Him to write a book?
Can you physically see Him? Yes. Can you physically touch Him? Yes.
I wish you the best in your quest to find Him!

There is no, real, physical evidence. You can either trust what your church and clergy tell you, which shouldn't be taken more seriously than an opinion on the subject, or you can listen to what your heart and brain tell you to believe.
The only evidence is the lack of evidence to the contrary. The only evidence that there is no god is the lack of evidence to the contrary.
So it's all a matter of your own feelings on the subject.

When you can physically see an atom and touch (in the sense of feeling) an atom, then I'll ponder that question with any seriousness. Why ask such a question if you say something like an atom exists when you've never held or beheld one?
Simple: The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. We say there is evidence of atoms and that all the theories seem to validate that belief, but how does anyone know (with 100% certainty) that the theories aren't wrong themselves? Just like your statement about the biblical texts.
Thank you, come again!

You can not see your loved one's love, yet you can feel it not only miles away but even after they die.
Love is spiritual. God is spiritual.
And the books are not holy, but there are meaningful and holy words in it. Sorry, there are also things added and confused.
But you are holy. The most exalted creature on Earth, although our intelligence without wisdom makes us commit very bad things, some day we will be free of these evil forces influencing our thoughts.

Well some of us (millions in fact) have all the evidence we need and now live by faith....
I know you won't believe me but I'll share it with you anyway -- i was in a church in Glasgow one night, Glasgow Elim Pentecostal and i was standing and suddenly my friend and i felt this rush of wind ~~~~~~>>>>>>whoosh past us - that was the Spirit of God - it was an Awesome moment - so powerful -- and I've had many experiences with Him - before i met with Him I'd have thought how 'loopy' (crazy) does that sound but as you get to know God you just know when He turns up - He likes to have fun you know...
Jesus is alive - Christians are the only ones who know a 'living' God - think about it...

do not ever try to judge GOD on materialistic basis.GOD is the central theme of theology and spiritualism.GOD is not a part of the creation that he can be physically seen.GOD is too great that he should be seen physically but he can be felt or realised by the spiritual sense in man which is in the human soul called the spiritual heart /spirit,but you have to develop the capacity to feel or realise GOD's presence by having genuine faith and doing his will or in other words good deeds.
you can physically touch GOD BUT YOU CAN FEEL HIS PRESENCE through the spiritual aspect of the heart.
revealed books are really the revelations of GOD but most of them have got their several portions as manipulated or corrupted ,except the the holy quran about which almighty GOD HAS PROMISED THE MANKIND that GOD HIMSELF will protect it.

You cannot see God (there's a good reason for that). There is no reason to put faith into what the [any holy organisation] tells you to. There is as much evidence for God as there is for a giant monkey or the flying spaghetti monster- they are just as likely.

Many ancient peoples like First Peoples, who had no written language and no books, believed in a Great Being of some kind from which all existence originated. Where did they get their idea? Besides learning from their parents and community, they observed and experienced. They looked and saw inside, and they looked and saw outside.

I guess the real question you might need to ask first is why are you searching Him? What will you do with the truth once you find it? Sometimes spiritual truths can be elusive if the only motivation of those seeking it is scientific.
Creation and nature itself is the best evidence that someone intelligent have designed all these and that we didn't evolved by accident. Keep praying - you'll find Him. Just wait and be patient.

I have not seen any convincing evidence for the existence of God. That's why I'm an atheist.
