Ummm.... no one can WALK from the Philippines to New York. A huge body of water happens to separate the two.

I presume she will be doing a little swimming to start with. Once she reaches the Asian mainland, she could walk the rest of the way crossing the Bering Strait when it was frozen. It would take her some time.
