NO!
Skin cancer is most commonly as a result of exposure to
Ultraviolet (UV) light, most commonly from sunlight. Laptops BO NOT emit UV light at anywhere near levels that can be of any concern.
Other causes of skin cancer include the following:
- Use of tanning booths
- Immunosuppression - Impairment of the immune system, which protects the body from foreign entities, such as germs or substances that cause an allergic reaction
- Exposure to unusually high levels of x-rays
- Contact with certain chemicals - Arsenic, hydrocarbons in tar, oils, and soot.
None of which are emitted by laptop computers.

Television or Laptop or computer screens, give off several kinds of radiation, most of which is in the extremely low frequency (ELF) range. The amount of energy given off is far below government exposure standards, and at this time the available evidence does not support links to either of these health problems. Research in this area continues.
So the radiation from Lap top can not cause Skin cancer. No-a-days Millions of people sit for hours together before computer and lap top and for this reason no skin cancer is reported -

I don't think so. Radiation from the sun can cause skin cancer but the radiation coming from your laptop or TV is too low to cause skin cancer.

There is no documented scientific evidence that laptops have ever caused anyone to develp skin cancer. Sounds like a rumor or urban legend brewing.

Technically it can, at a very very very very tiny level. There is an (almost) infinitly small chance that you would get skin cancer from your laptop. It's probably caused by the radiation that the laptop gives off (and many other electronic products let out radiation at very small levels nowadays anyway)
