All quotations are from the Holy Bible, King James Version.

Revelation 16:13 – “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.”

Revelation 19:20 – And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”

Revelation 20:10 – “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

It seems that the unclean spirits of the beast and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire together with the devil.

Revelation 20:2 (also 12:9) says who the Devil is: “And he (an angel) laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan.”

Please note that in the above verses, the false prophet is singular. We were warned though also of false prophets (plural) in Matthew 7:15; 24:11, 24; Mark 13:12; 2 Peter 2:1; and 1 John 4:1 which include the false prophet.

The beast (associated with his image) and the false prophet might have taught and talked about God and religion and the Bible to deceive the unsuspecting victims. And in their teaching, they distort things and present the beauty of Hell. Please read the parable of the Holy Spirit in “The Pauper in Disguise” at http://www.geocities.com/peacecrusader888/sermon006.htm. From His sermon, we are advised to be alert, discerning, attentive so that we can identify the trickery of these unclean spirits.

According to the Holy Spirit, the prophecies in Revelation are happening only now. I believe what He said because there is no time in the history of mankind where an army of 200,000,000 (Revelation 9:16) was ever assembled except now.

Who do you think is the false prophet mentioned in Revelation 16:13, 19:20, and 20:10?

To Isaiah - It is two hundred million (200,000,000) and not two million (2,000,000). So, don't you think that it is only now that a nation of the world has ever mustered an army of that size?

Anybody who rejects who Jesus was.

As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned! -Galatians 1:9

Hi,

Revelation can certainly be enigmatic, but I will give this one a try.

The devil, the beast, and the false prophet. I believe that all three are fallen angels that rebelled against God. We find two of the three in Revelation 12:7-9. (this also is part of the lection for the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels celebrated a couple of weeks ago). In addition to the two specifically mentioned, it also adds "and his angels were cast out with him.

The symbolism of this is very deep; while there are many more fallen angels than these three, each one is diametrically opposed to one of the three persons of the Trinity:

The Devil, the great dragon, the serpent of old--God the Father.

Satan--God's son Jesus Christ.

The false prophet--The Holy Spirit.

The fact that they are dealt with by God at the same time in the same manner also supports the fallen angel premise. If this particular false prophet was a man he would have to face judgment with the rest of us on the last day.

"7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and the dragon and his angels fought,
8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

Your friend in Christ,

Mark

In Revelation, the "false prophet" is the same thing as the second beast (from the earth). And this is representative of papal Rome - the popes.

Revelation attained fulfillment many centuries ago. The two million man army represents the three major Muslim invasions of the empire. All a done deal.

Not as exciting as todays theories granted. But nevertheless true.

now picture the bible here as people recording or reporting what they hear... and what they hear is the battle of the spirit.. it's not something that can be seen ... but in a battle of words the evil one speaks... and the others who opose it speak... and many speak... to the evil one the good are called evil and horrible names... and to many who are in battle there is great confusion for although they battle they never know who they battle so there is often "are you the devil" or "are you the savior".. "who is who around here"... now the devil who is older than the good guys has an advantage of understanding what's going on.. the one who might be called the false prophet here might also be the one who is condemned to death... fairy tale of Jesus... for it did not occur in the past.. just the devil wanting to create more martyrs so he can have an advantage... or maintain the advantage...The devil likes to play narrator as the confusion unfolds.... the hero in the end is a woman... referred to in chapter 12 as the woman of the wilderness.. cause when she takes hold the devil who's been planning this outcome... thought that the woman would be weak and die.. for in the hisotry of this book he has trained everyone in her day to respond against her... that is why the woman is hated, and given disadvantage on the earth... and she rises up with support the devil himself could not imagine... for there is no god.. the bible says... Satan will be made god of this earth... that means he will be the only one to be called god.. and he relies on the blind faith nurtured through religions over the centuries before this battle... Look out in the earth today... I see that christians are trying to religify even atheists.. they did it to science... agnostics.. pagans.. making the world religious...Looking at the history of catholicism and christianity we see that these people always referred to those who oposed their religion as evil... but in the end we will find that they are the ones who served evil... and the bible was delivered onto the earth diametrically oposed to the truth... for the furture is not written, and the devil believing he had won allowed only HIS side of the story to be told. that is why although the bible gives clear indication that christian behavior is hypocritical... this reliance on prayer and religion.. and only allowing christians to inform christians and catholics means they rely on only those the devil has been able to make blind to what they are doing ... that gives us the saying the blind leading the blind... don't forget they still use the word blind faith... yet there is warnings in the bible to not be blind... and that leads us to the verse that says "Satan shall deceive many"... There is a time to know the truth and the time is just beginning so all those who have claimed to know the truth before now, have only been serving the deceiver... because he don't care about truth.. not even his truth matters in the end for relgion gave him power.. and that is all he cared about.

In the end... all that preach in the name of religion will be called a false prophet... each and every one...

It is the world empire of false religion.
The ONE that Revelation warns to " get out of"
(Revelation 18:4-5) And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues. 5 For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind.

It IS religion, because the "Kings of the Earth" [ governments] andn " The travelling Merchants" [ big business] both are 'sorry' about 'her' demise.

No, The Catholic Church is the church that Jesus established in 33AD. Jesus gave Peter the church to lead. You are calling Jesus Christ a liar if you are saying the church He established is the whore of babylon. Another point, the Vatican is it's own country and does not sit on 7 hills
