the holy grail is true.
the stuff and other stories connected with it is not.
Jesus drank wine through that grail. where will he drink from, in his hands? It was truly a drinking vessel, metal or wood, i don't know. But in catholic thought, it was important because it was the vessel that held the wine that Jesus changed into his blood during the institution of the Holy Eucharist.
Was it woshipped? no. it was revered being a holy thing.
If it were here and were to be used for the eucharistic celebration, how wonderful would it be for whoever the priest who would use it. ...very very historical.

probably wood

first of all, the holy grail is a cup that Jesus used. It has no particular powers to heal, provide long existence, ect ect. Jesus in no way married secretly or had any affairs. Jesus is God for Pete's sake! God does not do stuff like that. in the e book da vinci code, the author places astounding there on the front website that he purely made those products up. don't think each thing you study noob.

which one there are many theroies. The basic gist is the holy grail is the cup that jesus drank from during the last supper. It won't actually offer you eternal life if you find it. It is symbolic. it represents jesus blood ( the wine which was drunk at the last supper) meaning that by taking in the lessons of jesus' life and the fact that he gave his life so that we may have the oppurtunity to have everlasting life. so to find the holy grail is to find god and jesus after which you will recieve life everlasting

It is my opinion that the holy grail is a merely a metaphor for divine knowledge. As in a deeply profound understanding of ones own religious beliefs, unhampered by the restrictions of theological doctrines, that is. The Templar were granted the freedom (by the King and the Pope) to govern themselves and answer to no man. Eventually, they were killed as a result of that same freedom. Free-thinkers are to be feared by those who seek to control thought.

What you should be asking is;
Is it important to Jesus or his Father, Jehovah God.
To find out we should consult the Bible.
The cup that Jesus drank from could be called an ICON, and as such is NOT TO BE USED IN WORSHIP.
(Exodus 20:4-5) “You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. 5 You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation, in the case of those who hate me;

If the cup existed and was found, it would be used for worship. And it SHOULD NOT.
