So you made it to heave and St. Peter is like, "good job." "However, most people are going to hell and we are going to need workers to chunk their sorry souls in." Would you be willing to throw people into the firery abyss to burn for eternity?

What you have stated is the result of hundreds if not thousands of years of false teaching.
So called "Hell" and the "Abyss" of Revelation are not the same place.
In Revelation, "Hell" is termed "Hades" and will be eliminated along with death.
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.

The "Lake of fire" is total destruction. It is where Satan and earth's governments organisations and false religion will be 'consigned' to, simply eliminated.

The "abyss" is where Satan will be 'locked up' temporarily, meaning it is a place of INACTIVITY.
After a thousand years Satan will be let out for a little while.

(Revelation 20:3) And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while.

Jesus is the " angel of the abyss"

(Revelation 9:11) They have over them a king, the angel of the abyss. In Hebrew his name is A·bad′don, but in Greek he has the name A·pol′lyon.

(Revelation 9:1) And the fifth angel blew his trumpet. And I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to the earth, and the key of the pit of the abyss was given him.

If you hold the key, you are in control.

So it is no one else BUT Jesus.

Tell St Peter just to provide Satan with a big truck, so he can take them back himself every time he comes to visit.

Why are you making heaven sound like a Nazi concentration camp? Actually, on reflection, I suppose that's how the Christians do make it sound.

You have no idea what the bible teaches about eternity by asking questions that have nothing to do what will be.

We delight in the destruction of others as much as God does, which is to say; not really.
