Haha, you people have never heard of image manipulation ?
Anyway, smoking normal cigarettes will actually kill you long before plain marijuana will, if you don't believe me, do some research.
Although a small tip, don't mix Tobacco in, the chance of getting lung cancer goes up like crazy.
Because of the widespread scare campaigns and it's low addiction rate, placing a tax on it would never have garnered much profit for any government, and due to some early research which suggested all sorts of possible side effects, it was illegalized, Heroin was legal longer than Marijuana I think.

Genisis 1:11 - And 'god' said "let the earth bring forth grass".
And it did - but it's still illegal to use it BUT what is much worse is that all the other products that HEMP provided were thrown out too.
In Oz we could save our forests from being used as paper if HEMP was legal.
All plastic products could be made of HEMP.
The world was discovered on HEMP ropes and sails.
"HISTORY FACTS
*Hemp has been grown for at least the last 12,000 years for fiber (textiles and paper) and food. It has been effectively prohibited in the United States since the 1950s.
*George Washington and Thomas Jefferson both grew hemp. Ben Franklin owned a mill that made hemp paper. Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence on hemp paper.
INDUSTRY FACTS
*Henry Ford experimented with hemp to build car bodies. He wanted to build and fuel cars from farm products.
*BMW is experimenting with hemp materials in automobiles as part of an effort to make cars more recyclable.
SCIENTIFIC FACTS
*Industrial hemp and marijuana are both classified by taxonomists as Cannabis sativa, a species with hundreds of varieties. C. sativa is a member of the mulberry family. Industrial hemp is bred to maximize fiber, seed and/or oil, while marijuana varieties seek to maximize THC (delta 9 tetrahydrocannabinol, the primary psychoactive ingredient in marijuana).
*While industrial hemp and marijuana may look somewhat alike to an untrained eye, an easily trained eye can easily distinguish the difference.
LEGAL FACTS
*The US Drug Enforcement Agency classifies all C. sativa varieties as "marijuana." While it is theoretically possible to get permission from the government to grow hemp, DEA would require that the field be secured by fence, razor wire, dogs, guards, and lights, making it cost-prohibitive.
*The US State Department must certify each year that a foreign nation is cooperating in the war on drugs. The European Union subsidizes its farmers to grow industrial hemp. Those nations are not on this list, because the State Department can tell the difference between hemp and marijuana.
ECOLOGY FACTS
* Hemp growers can not hide marijuana plants in their fields. Marijuana is grown widely spaced to maximize leaves. Hemp is grown in tightly-spaced rows to maximize stalk and is usually harvested before it goes to seed.
*Hemp can be made into fine quality paper. The long fibers in hemp allow such paper to be recycled several times more than wood-based paper.
HEALTH FACTS
*If one tried to ingest enough industrial hemp to get 'a buzz', it would be the equivalent of taking 2-3 doses of a high-fiber laxative.
*At a volume level of 81%, hemp oil is the richest known source of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (the "good" fats). It's quite high in some essential amino acids, including gamma linoleic acid (GLA), a very rare nutrient also found in mother's milk."
(I only sampled two facts from each section - there are amny more - please educate yourselves)
Am I in favour of legalisation HEMP?
Yes - it will go far in reducing the need for petroleum-based plastic and nylon products which will be good for the ENVIRONMENT.

It's illegal for one simple starter.
Two, it's a recreational narcotic in the overwhelming majority of cases...which adversely affect the personality and physiology of users.
Three, it's addictive which leads to all kinds of relationship, financial, legal issues...
Four, it's not edifying/beneficial in our walk and witness as Christians.
"addition" Five, drug dealers kill innocents, and drug cartels commit every heinous crime known to man...yet your money supports them and enables them to continue doing so, and creates the demand for the product which in turn allows this cycle of violence and death to continue...and allows dictators to oppress people throughout the world. Christians should never support this kind of atrocity.
I think that is enough for now.
"Addition"
What God made is good, and what he made for us is good. The corruption of this world must also be taken into consideration...our sinful nature, and we need to be discerning in all we do. Great White sharks are a beautiful and powerful breed of shark...they are graceful and incredibly efficient at what they do...God made them and they were good...this world was corrupted and all that was in it was corrupted...if we ran into a Great White shark in the middle of the Ocean...we wouldn't think it was a good thing.
Cannabis isn't bad if used as a medicine which is what it was originally used for...but as with any recreational "drug use," it is merely for physical pleasure and losing oneself in the abstracted reality, the "high." It is also idolatrous once the addiction sets in because it becomes the focus of your thoughts in the place of God, and you will fight tooth and nail to keep that precious addiction going. I grew up around marijuana...I know what it does and how it changes people. You can try to sell this to someone who is ignorant, but God knows our hearts. Pray and listen to Him above all else...not any personal desires.
We are also not supposed to use alcohol to the point where we are drunk. Drunkenness is a fruit of the flesh and is therefore sinful. It is using a drug which alcohol is, as a recreational activity. It is no different than using any drug for pleasure. One is legal which doesn't make it any better to use improperly. Drinking to get drunk is sin, Smoking to get high?...you draw the conclusion.
If you want to justify it to yourself, by stating the obvious, that there are other uses for hemp, then you have that right, but would you care if it was used in "all" those other applications if you weren't allowed to smoke it too?
Judging an action as one that is wrong is not being judgmental of a person...we are supposed to discern what acts we are able to partake of, by listening to our conscience...to the Holy Spirit within us. God didn't tell us in explicit detail that using "cannabis" was a sin...just as He didn't mention strip clubs by name...or using pirated software, or downloading music without paying for it...
But He did mention, drunkenness, adultery, fornication, stealing, lying, anger, wrath, murder...etc...very broad categories that cover everything we can think to do.
Take Care and God Bless!

Marijuana is not a drug, it is a sacrament, if used as one. Abusers misuse and are misrepresentation for the peaceful warriors.
