I have a 9 mnth od boxer and last night she was coughing really hard for about 15 minutes then this morning we woke up to see her entire Kennel covered in Poop. Straight black liquid. nothing even remotly solid about it. When we took her out she still had straight liquid but it was a normal brown stool color. We are making sure she has plenty of water and trying to solid it up with food our vet gave us for our other dog when he had diahhrea. But it is sunday morning in germany and we dont know where a emergancy vet is, so im wondering at what point should she absolutly go to a vet? or can we hold out till tommorrow when our vet is open. could this be parvo? never had a dog who poop'd straight liquid before.

she is not acting any differently she still is running and playing with our other dog. its not uncontrolled she holds it till we take her out.

Yes, it could be Parvo. And yes, she should be taken into a Vet as soon as you can get there. If it is Parvo, they lose more fluids than they can take in by drinking. Severe dehydration leads to death.The only dogs I have seen saved from Parvo, were treated by a Vet within the first few hours.
That being said, there are a number of things that could cause her symptoms. At the top of list, is eating something she shouldn't have. It could create a blockage, and if left unchecked could cause internal damgage. A blockage might also cause the dog to cough or throw up. Stool will be watery because they are not digesting properly.
Whatever the cause; this is something that a Vet needs to diagnose...the sooner the better. Hopefully it will not be serious. Good luck.

Many things can cause diarrhea in dogs,if your pet isn't throwing up with the diarrhea,I would suggest replacing her water with the baby non-flavored pediolyte and let it drink all it wants.Keep her still as possible.Also boil some chicken,cut into small pieces,put in blender with small amount of water and puree it.You can also give your pet about 1/3 teaspoon of pepto bismol every 4 to 6 hrs.If you haven't rewormed your pet lately,would suggest reworming with a safe wormer called Panacur, which can be purchased at any vet clinic.It is given by weight and three days in a row.If diarrhea doesn't check up within 24 hours,suggest seeing your vet.

You don't mention if she's had her vaccinations and what kind.
This could be any number of serious contagious diseases dogs can get. Have you taken her temp? Are coughing and diarrhea her only symptoms? Find an emergency vet, tell them her symptoms and ask them if it can wait. Nothing outweighs professional advice.

i would phone a vet straight away they should give an emergency number yes it could very well b parvo so i think you need to get him to the vets right away .with parvo there is an awful smell that is hideous so please get on the phone and get the emergency number
