i live in california. i went to sedona for the first time. my boy was the ring bearer. my friend now lives half an hour from there. she said she will drive out to see me and what day is good? i felt too polite to say not at all.
we arrived friday, the rehearsal was that night. saturday morning was free and i'd hoped to see the town at least. nap time is noon (he's three), and the wedding was at four. we left sunday morning. i spent my free hours saturday sitting in my motel room with my friend and her four year old twins. (three monkey's jumping on the bed). it was 10:30 am and too late to get out. i urged her along because we had to prepare for the wedding. no big deal. two weeks later she came to my town. she notified me and told me where she was staying. i told her i'd keep friday free and what did she have in mind. she said well, i told three other friends that i was in town and i'll wait to hear from them. wow.

Is this a "female thing"? Way, way too much whining and complaining for me to understand a real problem here. GET A LIFE, spend some time learning to be articulate! Capitalize "I" always! Teach your child better grammar than you use. There ARE more important things in life than this drivel that you have written.

How much do you want this friend? Is she close?

If you don't consider her a close Friend/or have drifted, just avoid her/when she calls, don't answer (see call id ).

Find if she's always this way (then live w. it, or dump her!)

2 other ops: 1=act cold when she corners u into talking (then when she asks tell her you were hurt/ &why!

2-Call & tell her you were hurt/she her response (if she doesn't seem to care, dump her!)

If u patch things, but she starts to do it again, yelll at her on the spot/aslk her to leave, & dump her!

I would tell her in a letter what she did and how it made you feel. This will get it off of your mind and out in the open, then it's up to her to respond and apologize. I wouldn't just forget, it will cause tension in future meetings.

Why forget about it? Just tell her you don't want to make plans with her in the future. She sounds flaky.

Forgive, but keep it in mind if she wants to try it again.

I wouldn't really call that a friend. Course, you always could just say "no".
