Does he like me still??!?! help please!?

for the past two yrs ive been interested in a shyguy and we always had a thing, and we finially started "talking" lastyear but another girl came along and i guess he picked her over me. after tehy stopped talking he hella tried to flirt with me and called me 3times during the summer, but for some reason he hella ignores me now, no more hello's, IM's. nothing, but he helllllla talks to all my close friends yet ignores me?and hes always hella quiet around me,even when i try to make a conversatoin, but loud around my friends. just the other day i was in the same place as him, and we were bout 2ft away and throughtout the whole time, he never said a word to me, but he was helal talkative to my friends and he knows they have bf's too. and when iwas around he talks but when i go away he doesnt talk as much. whatttsup with this? is he tryna make me jealous? or does he still like me or something? or hes just awkward towards me. this is driving me nutsss.

he might be confused, about his feelings, or about his strategy or he might be irritated with the excessive use of "hella"..... kidding, no offence :)

so, in my opinion, the best thing to do right now is not do anything. just let him be. he's shy, right but he used to talk to you and u are making attempts right now... really, so its for him to decide...
if nothing changes, u can go n talk to him, be direct and ask him, or tell him you feel like he is avoiding you, or acting weird and u would like to know whats up n that u dont deserve to b treated in a way tht makes u feel uncomfortable......
even if u like him, do u really wanna sit n keep guessing what he is thinking for the rest of ur life? give him a chance n then lay it off..
