I wouldn't give an atheist that much credit

You mean that Christians don't harass atheists already? I must be misinterpreting things quite severely!

Is this question not a blatant example of what you say you hope for? Perhaps it's not as blunt as calling people ignorant and stupid, as occasionally goes on, but it's certainly a modest example of what you advocate.

The problem is that people only see when they are being attacked; they don't recognize it as well when they do so to others. Atheists saying "stop believing in fairy-tales" is no more of an attack than a Christian saying "Believe or burn".

You call proselytizing "Sewing a seed", evangelism is "speaking the harsh truth in love", but you fail to recognize that atheists wish you to see the truth as well, and sometimes present it harshly. You don't see their truth and believe yourselves constantly attacked while atheists see it exactly the same way coming from you.

Neither will ever win out as long as emotion reigns over reason. In fact, neither will win out until death claims us and we see, or don't see the truth with our own eyes.

Why would you want to harass them? Doesn't that make Christians look bad considering we are suppose to love everyone even our enemies? I think it might be a good idea to open an atheist one but if they did we should just leave them alone and hope they would do the same. This isn't a Christian site anyways its a religion and spirituality site.

i do no longer. in fact, I answer honest questions posed via Christians because of the fact I take place to comprehend lots on the subject of the religion (between others). i might ask you why Christians harass blacks interior the southern us of a, in spite of everything, the KKK identifies itself as a Christian company. you won't be able to take a small pattern and generalize to an entire group without sounding ignorant.

What atheist site? This isn't a Christian site. You're talking crazy man. Stop trying to embarrass Christians.

I hope I don't embarrass you by pointing this out, but you can harass atheists right here in R&S.

Absolutely. There is so little opportunity for Christians to harass atheists, what with the overwhelming majority of Americans being atheists and the poor select few Christians having to keep to themselves for fear of persecution.
Also, are you implying that this is a Christian section?

You do realize there is a whole plethora of religions/belief systems beyond christianity and atheism? So do we get islamic, pagan and dharmic sites as well?

Some of them already do. It's embarrassing to me (I am a Christian) how rude they can be.

I'd hate it if they did that. I like having a variety of people here.
Frankly, it would be boring if they weren't here.

You mean what goes on in here is not harrassing to atheists at times?

Another poster noted Home Depot is having a sale on martyr lumber and nails if you feel so persecuted- oh WAIT, you want to harrass!

My mistake.
