I have straight hair but have problems with damage because it is thick and tangles easily. I bought Pantene for the first time ever today and it says it "keeps hair straighter for up to 18 hours". Should I use this conditioner? I have been using Garnier and white rain, but, they both eventually dried my hair out. Anyway, I would greatly appreciate advise on what brand of conditioner I should use on my hair. thank you.

Stop buying store brands, use professional products.
Big Silky Sexy Hair is really good and won't build up.
Abba Moisture Scentsation is good too, ecspecially if your scalp is dry.
Bain de Terre for coarse hair.

Take the Pantene Pro-V you bought back to the store. It was created for curly hair. If they will only exchange it for another product, choose Nexus Humectris or Nexus Ensure. They will be around $9 to $14. Nexus has just started selling their products in grocery stores. If you can't find it near you, go to a salon, where they were originally sold. These are the best products made.

Do read the labels carefully, so you get just what you need. You won't be sorry!

I think it used to be but about 3 years ago they changed the formula and now it dries my hair out. For brands you can buy in the store, I like the least expensive Nexxus conditioners.

Pantene is a wonderful product. It is so rich and great for drying hair. I put a lot of highlights and chemicals in my hair making in dry, but Pantene keeps my hair from drying and breaking. Highly recommended.

You should buy your shampoo from a salon store or Trade Secret. Using a shampoo with no sulfates (like Abba or Alterna) will make a big difference.
