Keep in mind most of these are PER HOUR.
Meaning that you would have to run for an hour NON-STOP, to loose the 570 calories.
Also keep in mind, that you should at the very least take in 2,000 calories a day.

These numbers aren't quite right.

I work 5 days a week and excercise, at least, 1/2 hour everyday. Based on this calorie calculator (http://www.stevenscreek.com/goodies/calories.shtml), I burn about 2100 calories a day if all I do is work and ride my bike 4 miles. My 1500 calorie a day diet is closely monitored and journaled because a normal diet cosists of 2000 - 2500 calories a day.

They key to weight loss is burning more calories than you take in.

To answer your question I would say the quickest way to lose over all weight is to run like there aint no tomorrow for at least half for at least half an hour everyday. And dont eat no bread, pasta, or any think that runs under the starch category. No sweets or junk food at all. Drink tons of water. If you just have to have something sweet eat a piece of fruit. Take vitamins to put in your body what you mite lose thru heavy dieting. And when u prepare your meals dont fry anything just bake your meats. Stay constantly active. Dont eat after 6 or 7. Thats how I lost most of my weight and kept it off to this day.

i don't know where you got those numbers but they're really skewed. you don't burn 1100 calories per hour walking up the stairs, and you'd have to run hard and swim incredibly fast to burn that many calories. and you definitely don't burn 77 calories per hour doing nothing. that would mean you'd burn 1800 calories a day if you were in bed the whole time, and very VERY few people have a high enough basal metabolic rate to burn that many calories without any activity.

If women managed their weight, like most of them manage their bank accounts, there would be no fat women.

Eating is what you earn.
Exercise is what you spend.

If you don't want to be rich. Earn less, Spend more.

Now while it's possible to eliminate all that excess wealth in your hips and thighs by earning less, nothing will get you to poverty faster than big spending!!!!

Walking is a great way to go. That Jared crap works. I have know more that one person that lost a bunch of weight by just walking 1 hour a day.

But walking, which is moderate spending, won't help you if you've got a big allowance from Daddy Warbucks.

You must stop eating like fat people.
Have a salad instead of deep fried chicken. Snack on celery, apples and carrots instead of donuts, candy bars & ice blended coffee. The occasional hamburger won't kill ya but those chile cheese fries have got to go.

Morning exercise raises you metabolism. You will burn more calories all day. Eat light, eat often. Do not starve yourself because that sends your body in to conservation mode.

Eat big meals early, light meals later.

Screw fast off back later. Change you lifestyle. Get thin, stay thin. (Easier on the skin)

Good Luck.

you don't need to work out to lose weight. if you just cut down drastically on your calorie intake you should lose weight pretty fast. but if you never work out you will be thin but not fit and fit looks better. you need some muscle on you! if you swim and run and walk upstairs all the time (or one of those an hour a day) then you ARE working out so you should be just fine. also you'll feel better if you exercise!

Mandy ... a little advice .. but rather IMPORTANT advice ...

PLEASE don't do the rapid weight loss thing by the means of placing yourself on a near starvation diet... I say this because our bodies are very complex and clever things ...

If you place yourself on a stavation diet .. YOU WILL LOOSE WEIGHT ...and you WILL loose it rapidly .. BUT ... Your body will remember that and IT will think that you are in some sort of famine situation ... SO that in the future when you eat .. your body will do you a *wonderful* favour by storing more of the energy you ingest ....so THAT next time you're in that FAMINE situation .. you will have all that fat to keep your body going ...and IT is so hard to get your body to stop trying to protect you from starvation ..

EAT SENSIBLY .. EXERCISE .. and keep doing that so NEXT time you *need* rapid weight lost .. YOU WON;T

First of all what is your weight/height? Until you have that information you will not know whether you need to lose weight or not.

The best way is to combine exercise - walking costs nothing and is always readily available - with a well balanced diet. Not too much sugar and fat.

Kind regards Jo.

You can follow your plan, and you will lose weight. You will also be malnourished, sickly, and you will die if you follow it long enough. You will also gain the weight back, plus some, if you go off of your plan.
