i do.. i've tried SO many different glasses throughout my life and they all cause me this problem. when i take off my glasses, you can see these dents. they're not deep but the area is slightly darker than the rest of my nose.

i also wear contacts but sometimes i really can't be bothered in the mornings, so i just wear my glasses. and even when i can be bothered wearing contacts, i get lazy about taking them off at night (but i always do take them off). so i wish i could wear glasses without that effect on the nose.

do all you glasses wearers have this problem with your nose? what do you do about it??

ok i used to have this problem when i had metal framed glasses with the nose pieces.it always dented my nose as well as the dark area like yours.however,i was delivered from this dreaded plague by getting plastic frames without the the nose pieces.it doesnt really have a defined nose piece and it doesnt dent.its like the nose piece is joined with the glasses as one.its kinda molded into the glasses.
i wish i could show u pic,but it really works though.

If the nosepads are leaving a dent on your nose they aren't fitted properly. Go back to the Optician who supplied them and show them the marks. They will be able to refit the glasses to fit properly. You may also want to ask for soft silicone nose pads instead of hard vinyl ones if you haven't got them already - they are non slip, much softer and hypoallergenic so you should do better with them. Also you might be able to get larger pads, to spread the weight over a larger area and reduce pressure. If you are wearing your contact lenses then the dents will heal over time.

I love wearing glasses to read. I can see better with them

I have never looked for these dents. I guess they just fit in nicely with all the other holes and wrinkles and bumps etc.
on my face.

I'm not even going to look for the dents next time I shave.

Have you tried glasses without the little nose pads? I prefer ones with a nosepiece molded right in the frame (because I always break the little pads) and I don't get dents.

I have the same problem with glasses making dents in my nose. But the ultra light lenses the next time you get your glasses. That helps a lot.
You should consider lasik

Yes it's the most annoying thing!!!! I also wear my contacts because of that. I don't know if all glasses do that or if you and I have been cursed.

I HAVE METAL GLASSES WITH NO NOSE PADS AND THE NOSE PIECE IS JUST A LITTLE PIECE OF CURVED WIRE THAT FITS ON THE NOSE. LOVE THEM, BUT CAN FIND ONLY ROUND OR OVAL LENSES. WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A RIMLESS PAIR MADE LIKE THESE... BUT MY SEARCH ENGINE DOESN'T SEEM TO KNOW WHAT "NO NOSE PIECES" MEANS...

i have this problem with every pair of sunglasses i've ever worn! i already have a somewhat crooked nose and it's kinda big... but, when i wear sunglasses...it makes the dark spots that're there look darker than normal...but, if i don't wear them then my eyes water and burn because they're so sensitive! blonde hair...blue eyes...it's a curse...and...it's hot! so i suffer..what can i say?
