what is the world after?
The world wants back that which belongs to the world!

I can not speak for the world, so I will not, however I am personally after world peace. But alas, in order for that to happen, religion, especially the Judeo-Christian religions will have to fade.
I pledge alligence to the flag and this world for which it stands,
Many nations, many paths, all distinct but indivisible,
With housing, food, healthcare and education for all.
Yep I'm one of those liberal idealist and as for my heart....I don't know if the organ is bleeding or not, but according to my EKG I've at least got one.

The world is after the things the world offers,-wealth, beauty,prestige,fame and love without commitment among a lot of other STUFF.
I didn't lust over stuff but was deeply grateful for having food,clothing and shelter back in the 20's and on. I have what I was really after and that is salvation through faith in Jesus Christ but it took a lot of severe trials to the point of suicide to bring me to my knees and oh was it worth it-still have trials but He goes through them with me.And unlike friends, never leaves me nor forsakes me.All the money in the world cannot buy the peace that He gives in knowing i will live eternally with Him,not because I am peachy keen but because I am made righteous through His redemptive blood shed for me and because He arose from the grave and lives forever, so will "whosoever will believe on Him will not perish but have everlasting life!" wow!

How does one answer what this world wants? The world is far greater than you'd dream it to be. There are billions of people on this planet. Who is large enough, or full enough of himself to speak for the billions of souls?
A better question would be: What's after this world and what's after you?

no one achieves anything really.All that yu posses while alie shall be not yours when yu pass into samadhi.The world is just rollig around and around and will ve so till it falls into the Sun and goes into hybernation for re-emerging after thousands of Kalpa .

This world is after itself. It seeks itself in fulfillment. It seeks itself in taking care of those who need it. It seeks itself to entertain itself, so that it won't be bored. It seeks itself to solve all of the problems it creates, and with all the problems that it cannot itself solve.
I am after serving the Lord. In doing that I die to myself. I do not seek myself. I do not think that I can solve all my problems, and I don't think that the world can solve all my problems. I seek the Lord when I am idle, and I seek Him when I am bored. By dying to myself and by trusting in Him, my needs are met, and my life is filled with His love.
