Does he have different sized perches in his cage? If the bird is forced to sit on the same size perch all day it can hurt/stress his feet. Most birds do switch up feet though when they stand, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Does he have a nice stable perch or even one of those little tents (happy hut) to sleep in? Most birds like to feel cozy and secure while they sleep. If you are concerned about him hanging on the cage try some different perches, a happy hut, or similar.
For getting him to eat something different you can try a few ways. Mix some new things in with his food everyday, same thing, he'll eventually try it. That could take weeks though depending on how stubborn your bird is. You can try putting new foods in his food dish before you feed him in the morning for awhile, see if he eats any of it. If he is tame, most birds will try whatever their owners are eating, pretend to eat whatever you want him to try then offer a piece to him. Some people say that a crash course in new foods can get them to eat, if you want to switch from seeds to pellets for example, offer only the pellets, eventually the bird will eat them, I don't know that I like that idea personally, birds can lose weight very quickly if they don't eat.

This is NOT a problem, so you can stop worrying now. MANY birds like standing on one leg. WHY is the way he sleeps a problem? My cockatiel hangs on the wall when he wants me to get him out. Try covering Mango with a towel and night and see if that helps him feel more secure. You cant MAKE any bird eat anything they don't want to eat.

Do its feet look swollen? There should be at least two perches in the cage, so that the bird can jump from perch to the other. If it has to hold on to one single perch all day long, the blood circulation at its feet will be poor, and the feet will get damaged.
A cockatiel may like lettuce, apple and the like. An occasional treat of potato chip or cracker could not hurt.

I offer my cockatiels cooked/cool pasta in one crock bowl, and veggies (lettuce, broccoli, carrots) in another crock bowl. I also give them nutraberries and millet seed. It is not healthy for cockatiels to just eat seed. Adjust the quantities offered so he/she doesn't fill up on seed. Please check with your avian vet if you think there may be a fracture. Birds are good at hiding their maladies/ injuries. Good luck!

the form you communicate approximately your chum makes it sound such as you're no longer her chum in any respect. you may desire to end judging and start up relatively chatting together with her. if your chum has won 100lb in 2 years, she is putting her well being in extreme possibility. i does not be passive-aggressive and get her a well being club club, i might take a seat together with her and function an extremely extreme communicate regarding the form you concern for her well being. tell her which you relatively prefer to help, and which you 2 can pass to the well being club jointly on a time-honored time table. greater importantly, she desires to work out a physician. My suggestion: end conversing approximately your chum on the internet, and start up chatting together with her in an extremely extreme (yet soft) way.
