There used to be a club called Madisons in the 80s on 1st, but i believe it closed. I used to go dancing at Session 73 on 73rd and 2nd. Other than that, the UES isn't the place for clubs.

There are however, tons of great restaurants. One of my favorites is Sharz Cafe on 86th and 1st... has a fantastic wine bar - tiny romantic place. Also love Atlantic Grill, Sushi of Gari, Bistro 60, Brasserie, and so many other great places up there... can't think of everything at the moment, but if you just walk up 2nd avenue in the 70s you will find a hundred italian places.

There's a nice upscale vegetarian place called Candle 79 on 79th near Lexington. It's not a club, but a restaurant.

Im From Cali and Im no longer gonna be biased in any respect West wins in Beats because they were given those Gangsta Laid back Beats East wins in Lyrics from rappers like Nas, GZA, Jay-Z, RAKIM, massive and many more suitable West wins in Beefs and hardcore songs rather in Gangsta Rap from Ice dice, Snoop domestic dog DOgg, 2pac (obviously), NWA East wins in pass East wins in numbers (they have more suitable strong rappers) Its a tie in manufacturers (West were given DRE & Daz etc, East were given RZA and Premo etc) East were given a mild edge yet theyre both very dope IMO I take heed to both both and my fav rapper is from the west (2pac) yet there are more suitable East rappers in my top 10 fav rappers record than West so i love them both
