If drinking both liquor and beer, it's best to drink the liquor first if you don't know what your tolerance is.

If you have a few beers and are starting to get a bit of a buzz, it's alot easier to over do it on the liquor before you know it.

The beer has a lower alcohol content so it won't effect you as quickly. If you drink your liquor first, you can slowly drink your beer and have a little more control.

Of course, this is only necessary if you don't know your limits.

If you knew that you could drink 2 beers and 2 shots and feel pretty good, you could drink those in whatever order you wanted.

if you are planning on getting really lit, drink liquor first, then beer later. As you get more inebriated, usually you start drinking faster. Fast shots of liqor on top of an already established beer buzz, can easily get on top of you and have you sweating and spinning in a nauseaus dizzy mess.

normally people drink beer as a chaser after the liquor, that is if they are drinkin beer and liquor. OK

First, be sure to eat good before you drink.
Usually I will drink beer before the hard stuff. I not sure it matters except the Liquor has more alcohol content.

its called getting wasted either way, ain't gonna make a difference in the end. personally, i'd do liquor first though.
