Muslims are very united in their religion and I wonder if they practice religion in a more devoted way than Christians do?
I think they pray at least 4 times a day and that does not happen with the Christians, because I was one once and know it for experience.
Thank you.

The proprtion of Muslims who practise what they preach I think is far greater than the proprtion of Christians who practise what they preach.

Muslims pray 3 or 5 times a day (depending on your branch), attend mosque regularly (at least once a week), and most Christians I know, go to Church like once a year on Christmas or not at all.

But every religion has devout followers, and ones who aren't so religous. Can't generalize so much.

Depends. Not everybody who is a part of religious domination are strict adherents to that religion. Muslims have a reputation of being devoutly dedicated to their faith. That may be true for a good portion of Muslims. But just like any other religion there has some people who are not very strict followers. Not every Jew goes to synagogue and keeps the Sabbath holy. Many Christians do not go to church on Sunday and pray daily. So there has to be Muslims who do not pray five times daily or follow the Koran to an exact T.

My Muslim roommate in freshman year of college believed in Allah, but didn't really practice that much. She went to the mosque only once every 4-6 weeks, and I never saw her pray or read the Koran even once.

I guess practicing religion (regardless of which one) is like a lot of things--some people are hardcore into it, others don't care at all, and most people fall somewhere in the middle.

Muslims pray 5 times a day.

Muslims have been given a covenant through the First son of Abraham (Ishmael).

Many Muslims pray 3-4 times in their local religious center so they are perhaps the most religious while also being in the secular world.

My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level." ---------------Michael H. Hart,

in general..probably yes because many Muslims believe you have to be very religous and pray 5 times a day to get into heaven and that if you do something bad youll be punished for it in horrible ways after death. but theyre both so broad its not really fair to make that kind of statement about them. theres always going to be non-religious people and extremists in all religions.

I don't think you could consider the vehement Christians less religious than the dedicated Muslims.

Yes because most Muslims are strict on their children and they take religion so seriously which is bad.

Yes they are. Even those who do not practice religion on daily basis have strong belief on Islam and Prophet Mohammad.

Perhaps they are more devout, but whether they are more religious, isn't that in fact down to the individual.
