If there was a war in Heaven when Lucifer tried to take over, then where did the angels that were killed in the war go when they died? Wouldn't they just end up in Heaven again?

There were no angels "killed". They were all kicked out.

They 1/3 of the angels that sided with Lucifer became demons. They are like the angels...immortal. They would have to repent to end up in heaven again.

If the Kingdom of Heaven is within, then where do you "think" the war is happening?

God in heaven will defeat Lucifer in hell and angels will not die but fly away until god defeats Lucifer and then they come back.
That is why god gave them wings.

They weren't killed, you can't literally kill spirits. The casualties of the war chose to leave, and to cut themselves off from the presence of God. In this way they got their spiritual death. They became demons, devils, evil spirits, whatever you want to call them.

They suffered death by not inheriting their second estate. This means that were not able to get bodies here on earth, but are evil spirits that are sent to earth to torment man. They are here among us as the bad spirits.
