Please someone help me! My dog has a red line thing or something in its eyes! Its on the white part of the eyes! I think its a worm but its not! Please can someone help me! I want to make sure that my dog is okay and safe. We all love hime and we will spend anything to take it off!!!

Sorry about the previous details. No its not a cherry thing. It may look like a vein but its not. Its too red and it looks like a piece of string or a worm. If its a vein, my other dog whould have it too. But only one has one and the other doesnt. Please tell me.

If I could attach a picture I would but I dont know how to put it in. And I also have a picture that I done on paint. I can attach a photo to the computer for some reason. Sorry.

Is it near his tear duct?
This is a website which will show you where the Harderian glands are located. When this gland is herniated from too much rubbing of itchy dry eyes, this can occur, and it is important to have help right away before real damage is done on his eyes.

As the previous answer said, it is called cherry eyes. it even includes instructions on manually draining the eye in question

Is it on the bottom inside corner of the eye? If it is, it is what is called a cherry eye. It will need surgery to fix it. No emergency to rush to the vet, but I would take him soon if that is what it is.
