I bought an HP laptop and at the bottom of it it says Product Key, which I thought I could type in to my Microsoft Office programs so that they would work. Every time I open an Office program it tells me that I have to enter a product key. The Product Key on the bottom of my computer does not work for this. I can't find the key anywhere else and now the Office programs will not work whatsoever. I need this key to write papers, how can I get it??

the product key on the bottom of the computer is for windows, not for office. to get the office product key, you have to look at the set of discs it came on, or order the key from microsoft..

HP included the MS Office trial key with your documentation. After you finish the trial, you'll have to buy it or find substitutes.
