Do you think we're ALCOHOLICS?

Two friends and I went to the beach from Wednesday night to Saturday morning... we went through this much alcohol:
4 handles of Vodka
3 liters of Crown Royal
1 handle of cheap Whiskey
a couple cases of beer

what do you think!?

A handle is 1.75 liters...

okay... 3 whole days at the beach and 3 nights... basically getting drunk 6 times (during the day, pass out, drink again for the bars)

Legally speaking, in the U.S. or Canada ANYONE who drinks alcohol is an alcoholic. It's that simple. You had a major binge, and one or more massive hangovers and hopefully resolving never to drink that much over three days again. I bet that you had to barf it up a few times didn't you?

You had a drinking binge, that you should remember for several months, hopefully thorugh Christmas. There is no need to report yourself to AA unless this becomes a habit, just use some brains. You simply drank a lot of liquor because you wanted to drink a LOT of liquor. What a waste of good Whiskey.

That's over 1 litre of spirits per day per person plus a few beers for good measure. I can't believe you were able to do it without being seriously ill the next day. This doesn't in itself indicate alcoholism, but I wouldn't drink that much every week. You must have had a three or four day hangover after all of that drinking.

Not sure what a handle is, if it is one of those big bottles with a handle on the neck, then Holy cow how are you still breathing? We are talking what 2 days at the beach. Do you remember any of it? I say YES. get help or slow down.

What, are you aspiring to be alcoholics or something? I would certainly hope you are kidding with this. Alcoholism is a deadly disease and I have seen people die of it. Do not make fun of it.

That said if you did this once, you're not alcoholics, you're just knuckleheads.

If you make this a habit, I'll save you a seat in AA.

If you did that once, that's fine... I'm not saying that binge drinking is fine, but getting together and getting your drink on every now and then is okay, just be careful. If you're drinking that much often, then yes, you have a problem.
