They would still believe. They would say that god is testing their faith and they must work harder to serve him.

Probably the same way that people reacted when the found out that many catholic priests were pederasters. It won't make much difference. How do you think atheists will react when they are standing in front of God. Do you think they will still deny his existence? Probably because they wouldn't want to be wrong.

Peoples faith is so deep because God does exist. A world without God is world without hope.

Considering that there are many people who lose their faith and yet don't suddenly go insane or turn into immoral monsters...I think they'd manage to cope. Once the religion is gone, you come to realize that you were always taking care of yourself all along, and that your feelings on ethics don't always take drastic turns for the worst. They'd move on.

The higher beings existance would still have to be explained unless of course they were so high that we would call them God.

I would not believe them for a second. There is proof that the earth is only 6 thousand years old, not hundreds of millions of years old like evolutionists say, and they admit all of the bible stories are true. And they would have little or no proof against it. Why would I believe them?

Hmm. That might be a hard one to answer for me, considering, well, I really am only 13. Soo I think if that happened to me, I'd still keep with Christianity. Because I know there is a God. :]

I think people will believe what they want to believe, regardless of anyone telling or proving them otherwise. I believe the truth shall come out in the end, but I do not KNOW what that truth is, I only believe what I believe. It may be right or it may be wrong, or there may be no right or wrong.

I believe that real devoted Christians will continue to have faith in God. They can't live without the "knowledge" that God exists - they've always depended on God, and their lives have always revolved around God.

With all indications to the contrary, they would - most of them - go right on believing what the have built their lives around believing.
Guess that's why they call it faith...

It reminds me of that scene from the movie "Network" when Ned Beatty takes our protagonist to task over his puny, parochial view of how the world really works.
"You have messed with the Primal Forces of Nature".
Great movie.
