Ok, here goes, got a new hard drive, installed the disk's I was suppose to but it seems like I don't have everything that my old hard drive had (example-programs- I don't even have microsoft word processor) I have an HP computer with windows xp. Did I miss something, is there something else I need to download, lots of things I get into on the internet saies I have missing plugins etc. When I installed the disk, hp support helped me they only had me put in the windows xp pro SP2 disk and the restore one. I hope I haven't confused everyone just wanted to know if there is anyway to get all my programs back.

Ifyou used the restore disk, you should have everything that was there originally. Any thing you installed after the computer was installed, you will have to reinstall. Hope you saved your CD's.
