It is a fact that god is not real. The explanations of an existence are fairy tale like and were made up to fool uneducated people 2,000 yrs ago. If a God were real than he is a narcissist. According to the bible "If you don't believe in him or worship him, get baptized then you don't go to a heaven no matter how great of a person you are or the life that you lead, like someone who dedicates their life to helping others. Those who work for charites for hardly any money or dedicate their lives to helping dying kids in third would countries, WOULD YOU WANT TO MEET A GOD LIKE THAT? That if you are the most honest, selfless person on the planet but because you didn't get water put on your head or worship somthing that demads it with no proof you don't go to a heaven? Would YOU WANT TO MEET SOMEONE OR SOMTHING THAT SETS RULES LIKE THAT? Sounds like a Hitler, Castro, insert dictaror here way o of thinking.

There are a tone of answers there BUT NOT ONE ADDRESSES THE QUESTION. Further proof of of the validity. And C B said god wasn't invented 2000 years ago but people worship god for thousands of years before that, YOU MEAN like Zeus, Appollo etc? Do you think the same question could be applied to them?

Alot of people are saying that when you die you will see, I don't understand? If I or someone leads a very honest and "moral" life because you didn't worship someone or something then you don't go to heaven? That would make god a narcissist, correct? That is similar to a dictator like Hitler, Castero, etc correct? Would you want to meet a God like that?

DEFINE REAL?
What exactly is real and what is not real?
Also know that moderate Christians do not believe the same extreme view fundamentalists do either.
So what is the question exactly it does sound like more a statement? i have a question though, define real?
I am not Christian as I said but i am not saying god does or does not exist, I am not that arrogant to say or state what I have no proof of either way. Question it sure, but state it as fact no. I cannot also state that he is a narcissist either. if what i know of real Christianity free will would explain why things are so bad in their eyes and the end of days is the reckoning.

If you don't believe on others then find out yourself, may be you will be next Mohammad, Jesus, Buddha who searched for the Supreme Truth and found.
God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God says there is none that are righteous, no not one!
He says great deeds won't earn our way because we'll have guilt no matter how hard we try. It's for us, honey.
He tells you this for your peace of mind so you won't feel guilt.
He gives us rules for our good. Like we do for our children, it's not to hurt us. When you're baptized it's to cleanse you from quilt. It's for your good.
I suspect that in the past someone of authority made an impression that caused lack of trust and resentment in your heart. You don't see God as a loving father but a ruling tyrant.

Well first of all, God was not invented 2000 yrs ago. You are talking about Christianity which is a man made religion. People believed in God or Gods for many thousands of years before that. So yeah, if you look at it like God doesn't based on Christian definitions only, then your arguments make sense. However, they make no sense in terms of older and wiser belief systems.

The one true God certainly IS real.
He has always existed...and will always exist.
He has also give each and every one of us the gift of free will. He has also provided a covenant (the New Testament) for the salvation of the eternal soul thru His Son, Jesus. Out of free will, we're each able to enter into this covenant and be assured the kingdom of heaven...or not.
The consequences of our own decisions are ours.
It really IS that simple.

I personally have read the entire bible and if you do not take scriptures out of context or twist them to mean what you wish, perhaps even praying to UNDERSTAND them or even just find a GOOD scripture (according to your standards) - comment on that too

It isn't any more a fact that God isn't real than that he/it/she is. There are many more Gods than the Christian God so for you to act like the Christian God is the only possible God and because that God sounds messed up doesn't make all Gods or beliefs in gods bad.

it is a tragedy if one loses sight of the attributes of god.
It is logical that if god is almighty, god has to be of no sex, form, name - all designated by human beings.
Also unless god is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient,god cannot be greater than all its creation and know all.
Has god rejected all other creations because monkeys and caterpillars do not have a name and form for god?
Also god has to be nonjudgmental, impartial, and merciful to all its creation - otherwise could not have given them life.
We create our own god to suit us or our society or our religion and find that it does not meet our expectations.
We are gullible and paranoid and believe what another man/woman tells us and follow them like goats because s/he is in a dictatorial/powerful position such as a priest, leader/
politician/ king/bishop/teacher etc.
Why do we get brain-washed but do not think that all human beings are as ignorant as we ourselves are and are no different - and why not search/find the truth for ourselves.
Hasn't god given us the same brain irrespective of our color,race/religion/country - but given us the same blood, bones, and other organs.
