We have been in the end times since around AD 30; this expression references the last "dispensation" (revelation of a new covenant) from God, and that was the covenant purchased by Christ's blood.
If you are wondering about whether the end of time is near, there is no answer. Jesus (Matt 24) Paul (I Thes 4) and Peter (II Pet 2) all state that there will be no signs for that "day and hour"; it will come as a thief in the night. Jesus' point in Matthew 25 is that we all ought to conduct ourselves as though the time is on hand.

The world as we know it is close to ending. Look at the North American Union that is being created here in the US/MEX/CAN, the EU as well; they are also looking into combining Asian countries as well. The bible states there will be a one world government, and that information and knowledge will greatly increase as never before. Look at the last 100 years. How long did people ride on horseback until they finally came up with a motor car, then look at how quickly that turned into planes, trains, industrial revolution, bombs, computers, space travel. Not to mention the prophesy fufilled in Israel. Everything is in place. These are most definitely exciting times for sure. Gods peace to you :)

Yes from some sources. 2005 to 2012
Some sources say in 2012, the world will end as we know it.
This could mean many things. Just wait and see.
Jesus said if you cannot change one moment of time why would you worry about anything you cannot change.
Have faith in God that you will be taken care of. If you are not here, you will be some place. You are eternal. Your body can die but your spirit lives on.

This world doesn't end, this age of the world ends. Once Jesus comes, he makes all things new.
We are in the birth pangs of the end times. The tribulation is not yet, but soon to come. There is nothing in prophecy that has to be fulfilled so that the Rapture can take place, once that takes place, the rest of prophecy will steam in and begin.

Nope... The universe still got a few thousand billion years in front of it.
As for humanity, if we could just keep religious zealots away from the little red button, we should do fine.
We only have to hang in there until we figure out a way off this dust ball... That should take about 50-100 years. Once we can survive in another habitat, "sky is the limit" as they say.

The end of times is a old pagan belief that has persisted to be a part of the scriptures. God does not operate in this manner. This is the stemming of the belief that we serve a vengeful and angry God. We know better than this. Today we know him as a loving God. The will of God has no concerns for ending what he has already put into motion. His concern has always been for the individual. His will is for each of us to know him and be like him. The end of times is purely a materialistic belief. It grounds itself on fear and fear alone. To that end, if I were to say that it was true, it would be meaningless. As Jesus once said, “To a God-knowing kingdom believer, what does it matter if all things earthly crash?”

I think the world as we know is ending and a new world is beginning where there is global unity, racial and religious harmony and the beginning of serious space travel. I think these changes started in the 19th century and will last another 200 years or so
