Oh...my goodness !! I have discovered this delicious apple coffee cake recipe.
It is easy and soooo decadent....and right in season.
Bundt mold is different because the cake part of the recipe is separated from the other ingredients that is added between the layers of the batter.
Here goes :
Apple Coffee Cake
1 package of yellow cake mix
1 package of instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of canola oil
8 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup of walnuts
Preheat oven to 350* and grease a 10" Bundt Cake Pan.
In large bowl, combine cake mix and pudding mix. Then add eggs, sour cream and oil. Mix until blended.
In another small bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon and walnuts.
Pour half of the batter into the Bundt Pan, then a layer of apple slices. Over the apple slices, sprinkle half of the walnut mixture.
Pour on the remaining batter. Top with the last apple slices and walnut mixture.
Bake 1 hour. Cool for 1/2 hour before serving. Top with Whipped Cream, if so desired.
ENJOY !!!!
***This is not a Bundt cake recipe to be flipped out of the pan to look pretty.
As a matter of fact, I leave it in the Bundt Pan and take out serving portions with a big spoon. You can store the pan in the refrigerator, if need be.***

Recipes for most any cake can be baked in a bundt pan, an angel food cake pan or narrow loaf pan with excellent results.
The converse is not always true. Thick, heavy batters or angel food and chiffon batters must be baked in a bundt pan, angel food pan or a narrow loaf pan.
The only thing you need worry about is greasing and flouring the bundt pan. Be consientious about getting an all-over, thin and even coating (no globs in the corners) of butter, margarine (NOT lite or diet) or shortening; then dust with flour and lightly tap out the excess flour - cooking oils work OK too. Flour w/o cracked grains and seeds works best. In my experience white works best even for whole wheat recipes. I've used a product called "Baker's Joy" with good results. It is vegetable oil and flour in a spray can. There are other brand names for this product, this particular brand is the one available in my area. But I prefer butter and flour.

Hi There,
You actually don't need a special bundt cake recipe to use your pan. My favorite is actually just a regular chocolate cake with melted chocolate icing over top. All you have to do is mix the cake just as the box reads then coat your pan with Pam or Crisco and flour to make sure your cake won't stick. Then bake at 350 degrees F for about 35 to 40 minutes. After you have your cake on a plate or platter melt your chocolate icing in a microwave safe bowl for about 45 seconds in 15 second increments until all is melted and pour over your cake, and let it set up.
Another good recipe for an actual bundt cake is....
Chocolate Bundt Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 milk chocolate candy bar (7 ounce size)
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
confectioner's sugar, optional
Directions:
In a saucepan, heat the candy bar and chocolate syrup over low heat until melted; set aside to cool.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Combine flour, salt and baking soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Pour into a greased and floured 10-in. fluted tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 65-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely. Dust with confectioner's sugar if desired.

honestly you'll like this pan best seems to rise and non stick easier plus the slicing is perfect with this style cake just make sure you wash dry and grease extremely well entire pan center shaft as well flouring is optional I like to use the grease flour can spray best. Bake as you do with any cake bundts usually 45 min to l hour usually and then upon coming out of over put plate across top flip and lightly tap top around you'll have beautiful cakes and fall breads

Crust:
1 1/3 cups crushed chocolate cookies or Oreo or
Hydrox sandwich cookies, filling and all
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Spray a 9-inch springform pan with vegetable-oil coating. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. With your fingers, press mixture around the sides and across the bottom of the pan. Chill crust while you prepare the peanut butter layer.
Peanut Butter Layer:
10 double graham crackers
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 pound unsalted butter
2 cups chunky peanut butter
Combine all ingredients in a food processor just until blended. Spoon into the crust-lined pan and smooth the top. Chill while you prepare the chocolate layer.
Chocolate Layer:
11 (1 ounce) squares high quality chocolate
6 egg yolks
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
Chop chocolate very fine, place it in a medium-size mixing bowl, and set aside. Have yolks ready in the top portion of a double boiler. Heat cream just until it comes to a boil. While whisking constantly, slowly pour hot cream into the yolks. Cook in the double boiler over simmering water, stirring constantly, until thickened enough to coat the back of a wooden spoon. Strain cream mixture into the chocolate and gently blend until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. It will be very thick, almost like pudding. Pour over the chilled peanut butter layer. Smooth the top and chill.
For best results, prepare one day ahead of serving. Slice with a knife dipped in a tall glass of hot water, then wiped dry.

go to jewel food store and pick one up, they have bundt cake boxes there, or get a regular cake mix and check on box and it tells you what not to add for a bundt cake.
