I really want to send an email to the person in charge at my district and ask them while they put up posters telling us to eat well, they slap on a price tag of $2.00 for a salad with massive cookies and muffins at 75 cents. Who would I address this letter to?

Superintendent, but this is actually how things work elsewhere, also! Not sure that the superintendent could even change the prices of things, even if he wanted to or had the power to...healthy foods are, unfortunately, more expensive than over-processed junk - it's just the way it is.

I would ask the principal at your school , or someone at the school office. It would depend on who is making the choices for your school.

You are suggesting that at the prices charged students on limited incomes will choose the less expensive items which are less healthy choices . That sounds like an excellent idea.
