Saudi Arabia Green Card Lottery? a Hoax never existed
USA Green Card Lottery:
Each year, around 50,000 immigrant visas are made available through the Diversity Visa (DV) program, also known as the Green Card Lottery to people who were born in countries with low rates of immigration to the United States (fewer than 50,000 immigrants in the past five years). Applicants can only qualify by country of birth, not by citizenship. Anyone who is selected under this lottery will be given the opportunity to apply for permanent residence. They can also file for their spouse and any unmarried children under the age of 21.
If permanent residence is granted, the winner (and his/her family, if applicable) receive an immigrant visa in their passport(s) that has to be "activated" within six months of issuance at any port of entry to the United States. The new immigrant receives a stamp on the visa as proof of lawful admittance to the United States, and the individual is now authorized to live and work permanently in the US. Finally, the actual "green card" will typically arrive by mail within a few months.
There is a growing number of fraudulent green card lottery scams, in which agents take money from applicants by submitting application forms for them, usually for a fee between US$50 to US$250. Some claim that they can increase the chance of winning the lottery. This is not true — in fact, they may delay or not submit the application. Likewise, some claim that they provide free airline tickets to winners or other benefits, such as submissions in future years and even cash funds. There is no way to guarantee their claims, and there are ample reasons for them not to fulfill their promises.
Both the Department of State and the Federal Trade Commission have issued warning statements about this type of fraud or similar business practices
The official website for more information on the lottery is the one quoted below.

I am sorry to voice out an opposing opinion against most of the previous answerers but the US green card lottery is available online in Saudi Arabia and the sites offering them are not blocked.
To answer this question, winning such lottery mainly depends on your luck. Whether your chance is big or not, who knows? But as a reassurance, I know of someone ( a doctor) who won such lottery and is in now in the process of moving to USA.
( I acknowledge that there had been reports of fraud so as a precautionary measure, for those who may be interested to participate, go to the official ones).
Good luck anyway!

Well, Honestly as far as I know this is fraud as there isn't a green card lottery. You have to apply through the appropriate channels to obtain a green card.
Theres' been alot of such cases especially on the internet or some people setting small firms acting as an office that will do all the documents and legal matters for a sum of money and after a month or so they disappear.
good luck and take care

A few months ago my husband filled out one of those things. about two days later this american man called him wanting all his information. When my husband blew him off thinking it was suspicious, the man kept calling back every few hours, ,then a woman called too. I dont think its real because why would AMERICA be so eager to give some saudi a green card? They didnt even tell him that he won, they just said they wanted information....I think it might be fake. He filled out the form on the actual american consulate website though.

Scam...
you have to go the legal routes throught the US government to get a green card...
You've seen all the hullabaloo about the Mexican immigrants lately and what they have to go through to get US citizenship and green card status.... There is no legitamate green card lottery... That would open doors to loads of criminals
