Yeah, I've always wanted to do something like that..go and do volunteer work at like a haunted house or something. I just dont know how to set it up or who to talk to or anything. Can anyone help me with this?

I would suggest going down to one and talk to whoever is in charge. Some of them have web sites too, where you could get contact info. Or if the haunted house is being put on by an organization, contact them and let them know you want to volunteer.

A lot of local groups will be doing them, also some churches put on a hell house, just stop by and check them out, ask if they need any help, who knows, you might be an actor or something so day.

check the craigslists postings for your area-here is an example of what's needed in the Seattle areas, and below is a link just to craigslists where ya look for your area-the V stuff is allways upper left of the area page-
