Do you live alone? or with a pet? If that is the worst thing you do, you're OK. I've had it happen many times, and that's not why I'm saying you are OK. People who spend a great deal of time alone talk to their pet or to themselves. Also there are just times it happens, but seriously, I would wager, that the person who you feel embarrassed because they heard you, has done the same thing or something similar that's embarrassing.
I did it one time choosing a product, and weighing the pros and cons, and someone heard me, I don't remember what I said, but I smiled at them, and said something about needing a good source of information to make the decision, they laughed, the embarrassment went away, and life went on. Many people THINK out loud.
PS. In my opinion answering myself is fine too. I would get concerned if you are getting answers from outside yourself when there is no one else there but you. Weighing the pros and cons, is how you can come up with the answer, and if I am making a purchase choice, and I'm tight on money, I go well do I want this bad enough to go without money for the rest of the week, and the fact that I figure it out is in a form of answering myself. If you hear voices other than your own, are when I would become seriously concerned

Nah, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I talk to myself all of the time. The lady I work for thinks I'm crazy because of it, (I'll yell at the stupid cleaner if I misplace it, *laughs*) but I don't really care much what she thinks. You're just thinking out loud, nothing wrong with that.

Heh heh! This query fairly had me considering. It's occurred so routinely. When I used to be within the carrier, now that I run my possess trade, and so on. But the funniest one used to be while I used to be honestly NOT speakme to myself! (But sure, I had been stuck. Many occasions.) Most of the snowbirds down right here have a pronouncing that for those who speak to your self you might have cash within the financial institution, or you're nutz. I ought to be nutz. I'm a device man or woman, and I received a bluetooth earbud as quickly as they got here out. I'm in Florida, so nearly all of the men and women down right here (learn "older individuals") had no clue. I used to be in a Publix grocery store while I noticed a sale that I made up our minds I might clue my individuals in on. I'm strolling down the aisle with my basket, speakme through the 'enamel. An aged couple had been coming in my course. (About 70's, perhaps overdue 70's in age.) I'm simply flapping my gums, and I'm definite to them it gave the impression of I used to be speakme to skinny air! The seem on their face used to be rather comical. The guy pulled his spouse in near, and checked out me like I used to be a battle fatigue case. The girl simply appeared on the ground. I got here to the realization that maybe making use of a bluetooth used to be now not rather in a position for the normal public but, and glued to making use of my mobile cell in my hand for a couple of months till phrase received out approximately the gadget except I used to be in my vehicle, or at dwelling.

haha....that happened to me a bunch of times. Atleast my person doesn't ignore me...if it answer back. And i do talk to myself if i'm angry at myself or someone else. It'll be like i'm talking to god or just someone out there, but there's nobody just thin air...and i'm talking to myself. Sometimes i have to vent it out, but i do make sure no one is around before i do it. lol.

I caught myself talking to myself and really ragged me out for it. I wish I wouldn't do it but at least I'm not answering myself.

It might look a little strange if you talk to yourself, but it's not bad. It's only bad if you answer yourself.

hahahah it's okay, everyone does it. what you've got to say to yourself is probably way more interesting than the loser who saw you talking to yourself anyway :)
