Unfortunately, melanoma is the worst kind of skin cancer, and some people do die from it. If she has not already done so, she needs to see an Oncologist ( a doctor specializing in cancer)- not just a surgeon, although surgery is indicated.
You need to protect yourself from excessive sun exposure, as this can contribute to your possibly getting the same disease later, and everyone needs to look at his/her own body, paying attention to moles or sores.
I will also pray for you and your grandma.

we need more details dear, plus we are just regular people on the internet, most of us are not doctors or chemists. Most skin cancers are not bad. I just had 2 removed and they are the kind that do not spread at all, but they are removed because they look scaley on my face. Melanoma is the worst, and does spread. If caught quickly it can be stopped before it spreads. I pray that your Grandma will be fine and not have melanoma.

I'm sorry to hear that and I hope your grandma will find something that will cure her skin cancer. Usually skin cancer can be cured in the early stages. However, I found a website that is definately worth reading.

Thorough medical care is required. Cancer is a great plague on all of mankind. There are many other acute and chronic devastating diseases just as serious. Please keep your family close for support during your crisis. This is the time to rely on your family and friends.

I understand your panic in this question. But how would an anonymous Internet site provide you with an amazing cure? The Internet is not capable of this. Check in with God.

It depends on the type of skin cancer and how advanced it is.
Normally, skin cancer can be removed without any lasting effects if it's not too far advanced.

But what makes you think anyone on this site could give you a cure that would save her if she is dying from skin cancer, which is very rare?
