First of all, it takes a BLOOD test to find alcohol, the urine test is for illegal or illicit drugs.
Your body absorbs alcohol, and deposits it into the bloodstream, where it can be detected for "up" to 48 hours.
Urine tests do not detect alcohol....... and are not used to detect alcohol......

Your liver/kidneys process out 1 drink an hour…

The test detects not the alcohol but the compounds that the booze is broken down into.

That can stay in your system for hours. Your body can smell of alcohol due to the residue being excreted through your pores for up to 48 hours depending on how much you drank!!

If you are asking this for a road-side accident test, they are required to test you within 1 hour of the accident.
(If your ever in an accident and your drunk just do what cops in Chicago do and run to the nearest bar after the accident and have a drink “Because of Shock” and then the test is invalid… It has gotten 2 cops off that I know of.)

If you are asking this for a work-test then a couple of hour.

If your worried then go to Walgreen’s and spend the $15.00 on a testing kit… Then you will know if you will pop.
