Man: Hiroshima

Man: The Holocaust

God: Eternal Torment

According to Christians, God ALSO wins the battle between good and evil, but what side is he on?

I just can't think of anything that any human or even humanity as a whole has ever done that is worse than God burning even ONE person in Hell for E-T-E-R-N-I-T-Y...you know, "eternity;" the absolute LONGEST amount of time that is possible. Burning. On fire. Lots of pain. More than any pain ever experienced in the flesh. So, REALLY bad, right?

Can you?

If you're thinking:

"He has given you a way out of it....Your choice"

Then I would say that he was however the one that created it and the one that caused us to go there if we don't accept him.

Figment of the imagination? Of course. But it's fun to pose these questions anyway. :P

Man is more evil, duh.

Hiroshima and the Holocaust both were deeds that did cause eternal torment to the victims and the people who did the deeds. They are causing eternal torment to this day. Lost of families and the impact of these historical events has been an eternal stain on this world and will be for generations to come. Man should be eternally tormented by these events, so that he will know not to ever repeat such things and fight against them if it is about to happen again.

Yes, God or our human consciousness should make us live in eternal torment over these things. Not just those two but other events as well.

Man: Hiroshima
--------------------->God wins!
God: Eternal Torment

Man: The Holocaust
--------------------->God wins!
God: Eternal Torment

Man: Created God
----------------->Man wins!
God: An abstract concept

Reanalysis:
Man: Holocaust
Man Wins!

Man: Hiroshima
....I would have said Nagasaki, since that was the unnecessary additional bombing that came after Japan already surrendered, which was far more insidious than dropping a bomb to avoid a prolonged war that would have cost thousands of other deaths.

Either way, man wins in your little contest, hands down. But since evil is also an inherently empty concept, your argument fails to accomplish anything.

hi funny-man doesnt need a god to be evil-we do fine all by ourselves-does seem a lot of people give him credit for our actions-guess they just dont want to fess up-less guilt if you can say god did it--as for he77-that is just a way of trying to get you to blame god also----keep smiling and enjoy the night---do believe you know he77 is a figment of imagination

He killed more people than any one person or group of person...he killed a lot of children. Also...why would Christan's say (and I'm not blaming you...) that there's a giant pit of fire that'll burn us forever...but since our souls leave our bodies...do our souls have nerves? Because if they don't...burn all you want...but we won't get hurt...gotta love it...
-EDIT- I love being able to give a theistic answer to these sort of questions...gives a whole new meaning than just saying, "God doesn't exist..." ^_^

If you believe in the Bible, and God created man in his image, then it follows that God is bad, just like man.

Man is more evil, no contest.
God gives us numerous chances to repent and be saved, Man kills you and ask questions later.
All you have to do is believe and follow His word and you can be saved from hell.
Do you think Hitler said "Repent and be saved from this" before, or during, murdering all those innocent people? Did America give the Japanese citizains warning signs?
NO!
God tells you what to expect and what could happen, he gives you fair warning and chances to be saved.

I assume you don't believe in God anyway since passing judgement on Him is blasphemous.
