The libertarian answerers here online will always advocate shelling out money for over-the-counter weaker-strength products from beauty stores; or conversely, home remedies from 1890.

Go to an M.D., a dermatologist. That's what your health insurance is for. The medications for acne aren't expensive at all in generic form.

Put the problem in a professional's hands. So you don't feel you have to get a medical degree yourself.

Just remember that over-the-counter stuff is mostly designed to rip you off; and most of it can't be that strong because otherwise it would require a prescription; and if it required a prescription, they'd have to fool educated doctors into thinking it's working, which isn't easy to do if the product is weak tea.

So. To repeat. Go to a dermatologist. Even if it's a mild case.

The strongest over-the-counter product for acne is 10% benzoyl peroxide, at least twice a day. It's at WalMart for $1.90, generic "Equate" brand, in gel or cream. Might also combine with a moisturizer or retinol-based moisturizer.

Otherwise go to a dermatologist and see if you need Retin-A, antibiotics, or stronger medications.

this is really bad according to skin specialists, but i squeeze and pinch those blackheads out with my fingers. it's really gross when the stuff comes out, but at least it comes out. i don't do it that often tho cuz i know it's bad. probably every month or two. i've tried washing my face with blackhead removing cleansers but they didn't work. the only other thing that works is the Biore Pore Strips. They work really well, but they definitely don't pull out all the blackheads on ur nose. so yeah, i use a combo of both.

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...

Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. i have the same problem. i just started using Neutrogena advanced solution facial peel. i bought it at ulta after reading about it in a magazine. you use it twice a week, put on a thin layer after you wash your face, then after about 10 minutes it kind of forms a mask and you can just gently rub it off. so far i've used it about 4 times and i can already see a difference. good luck!

okk.....a little patience and work...

1) every weekend apply some cleansing milk on your face and steam (I use bath and body works cleansing milk)

2) After steam, wiep off you face and gently pop the blackheads out....this might be painful...after doing that ...immediately apply ice to reduce the pain

3) Use a scrub (I use St. ives) and gently scrub you face payign special attention to your nose and wash off.

You can apply any face mask after this procedure....doing this every weekend will keep the skin clean and clear...

Also every alternate day srub you nose/face.

Hope this helps

You can try putting organic honey on them, then take a tissue and yank the honey off, hopefully that'll do it
