Tell him it hurts you when he only notices the bad things. Be honest and let him see that it's not cool for him to always be putting you down.

Do let him know that all his feedback at the moment seems negative and upsets you.
Have a Dad and daughter day doing something you both enjoy. Ask him ahead of time to think of some encouragement and positive advice to share with you.

Your dad loves you and wants you to WORK on OVERCOMING those flaws , not to just sit back and accept them because he sees the pain those flaws will cause you later on.Tell him you are working on them and actually work on them.He will give you a break when he sees improvement.

my son has the same problem and i have tried talking to his dad also maybe you can tell him how you feel cause sometimes coming from the child it really hits them and then sometimes they never change so eventually he will be the one to regret this cause one day he will need you and you wont want to be there for him

Tell him it hurts you. if that dosnt work each time he names a flaw about you.. name one about him :] he'll have a taste of his own medecine :] oh an tell him that it's pretty disappointing that he uses things against his daughter HIS OWN DAUGHTER to protect himself.

Well you could tell him it really hurts you. if he keeps it up, say some of his, but if u tlak to him, and tell him it really really hurts and bother you it may stop if it dont, then u can always talk to your mom or something
