Why would he - they had plenty of their own environment all around them. I would venture a guess to say that we might have more species living in the seas and oceans that we haven't even seen yet and might possibly be from the beginning of time. The Bible says that he took with him two of every living thing that breathed air - I know that whales are mammals and breathe like us, but they also live in very deep water which other mammals don't.

If it didn't it just means that whales, more properly refered as fishes in those days, were able to survive in the water without a boat. But for the sake of argument let us say there were two on the ark. Would that upset you? Maybe it wasn't mentioned because whales did not frequent the middle eastern deserts.

You do realize that putting two giant whales in a boat for even a day would kill them, along with probably everyone/everything else! Why in the heck would someone even contemplate doing something like that? Ugh!

No offense, but this has got to be the dorkiest question I have seen in the entire year I've been a user of this site!

I hate it when people give me a reason to actually defend the Bible, so please don't post something this embarrassing again. Thanks.

First, the Bible doesn't say Noah took two of each species. He took a pair of each and seven pairs of some.

It goes without saying that he didn't take fish and other sea creatures. It was a flood, not a drought.

"The oceans are transforming into to be saltier and saltier each and each year. through fact the mechanisms that upload salt to the sea, like runoff from land, river pass and volcanic eruptions are a lot greater ample than people who get rid of salt. Scientists have been waiting to video demonstrate the cost at which the oceans enhance their saltiness and via taking this fee decrease back in time, we see that the earth ought to no longer probably be the right age to help the Darwinian evolution defined immediately." there replaced right into a lot of water outdoors, noah did no longer could desire to keep the fish from each and all the water

The bible says that Noah was to take the animals THAT HAVE THE BREATH OF LIFE IN THEM, because he was going to destroy what was on the FACE of the earth. Fish, and whales, were not included in that list.
Read your scriptures a little better next time, ok?

In fairness, it does specify land animals, but you still have to wonder how the whales survived in a desalinated ocean, or how fresh water animals survived in briny water.
