I had this problem, and was addicted to lust. Part of it was because people tend to say, "oh it's okay because it is natural for a man to think that way, they can't really help it". If you want your husband to stop, do not tell him it is natural for him because even though it is by nature, some people seem to use that as an excuse to do it anyways but there is no excuse to sin against God. Lust isn't so much just looking at a pretty girl or guy, but there is a fine line from looking, and then putting a image in your mind of that person sexually. What helped me stop was realizing that every time I put an image in my mind, I am sharing that thought with God. That helped me put my guard up, and then I learned to bounce my eyes off pretty girls so I don't get any thoughts in my head. I really recommend him reading "Every Man's Battle", it's based on how to fight off lust and sexual sin. I read the every young man's battle book, and really that was the starting point of me stopping.

Well I think unclean thoughts all the time....the curse of being a teenager lol! but when I catch myself, I start thinking about something else, like a song, or i pull out a book to read, or watch clean TV, or play a video game, or something...
I can't help the thoughts from popping up in my head(or so it seems) so I just subdue them, and eventually I forget them!
All people lust...not just men....the thing is, women are not as likely to discuss it, or act upon lust, so men are stereotyped as being lusters lol.
Admit it...you've been somewhere and thought "wow that guy has a great AS$" or something of that sort....it's the same with guys(except about girls lol!)

No one can truly say who experiences sensations of lust more between men and women because no one is BOTH a man and a woman. BUT basing things on my own male perspective and my observations of other guys and of women... it definitely seems to me that man are 1,000 times more lustful than women. Men typically want to f*** every woman they see as long as she is at least decent looking. Women, on the other hand, seem to me to have very little sex-drive and often claim to only ever be attracted to their husband/boyfriend.
As for dealing with it, most guys don't consider it anything bad that needs to be "dealt" with. Guys love checking out women and do it all the time.
I don't mean to make men sound bad but I'm just being honest. I hide it very well but honestly I'm ALWAYS checking out women and thinking they're hot.
If you believe that God made everyone and that God doesn't want people to be lustful.... then why did he make men with such strong sex-drives? Sure, we have the ability to not ACT upon our desires. But to not THINK lustful thoughts? You can't control what naturally comes into your head.

How do I (a man)deal with it?
If I try to deal with it, I will fail. If I give it up to God, then he'll take care of it for me.
I'm not a wife, but I would hesitate to say that women are less lustful than men.
Yes, it's true that men are more physically oriented when it comes to women, so we do typically lust in this way, but there are other (non-physical) ways to lust after things. Women will tend to lust differently than men. You can lust after men and women, but you can also lust after money, or lust emotionally, or lust for power.
It is not more of a problem for men, it tends to be a different kind of problem for men.

From a biological standpoint, men and women both can feel lust, possible more for men from a cultural aspect.
From a biblical viewpoint, it comes from a failure to understand the three different aspects of love.
There is eros love, which is self love and includes lust.
Then there is what is called brotherly love, which is love for parents, siblings, and spouses.
The final and highest form of love is agape, which is God like love for mankind.
According to the Bible, God wants us to have the agape love for each other, but without Gods gift to us through His son, Jesus Christ, we are unable to attain that form of love.
As a follower of Jesus Christ, I am able to put aside eros love and to not sin. I also know that if I suffer from weakness of the flesh and have lust, but do not act upon it , I have forgiveness from God when I go to Him concerning that weakness.
I eagerly await the time when JC comes for me and I will be completely free from all weaknesses of the flesh.

I dealt with it by turning my heart over to God. I earnestly have been seeking His ways instead of my own ways, and it has made all the difference in my life.
You have to be willing to give up everything for something better.
The entire problem is a matter of heart and spirit. You have to make a choice: your way or His way? Then you have to stay with that choice every day.
I see the problem with both men and women. The 'world' has conditioned people to lust with their eyes. It has made people nothing but a 'meat market'.
Hope you get it worked out. It is a sign of the times we are in.

Do not confuse lust/drive with performance. On average males have the stronger lust/drive, but once you have a woman interested, it rather evens out quickly.

I like to think of what you are calling lust as simply 'feeling' a deep sense of appreciation for some of nature's finest pieces of work. What could possibly be wrong with that?

Actually male lust is a natural need to breed, every male species on this planet has this need to breed, it is the female that creates that need it's simply how we are made, now that is not to say that we don't have perverts within our own species, but we are here to breed and procreate.

firsat of all we are ALL born to sin and if he has a problem then its your problem too because he is your husband I would ask your teacher or pastor for counceling....pray for your hesband ..get in in that room and lay your haned on him and pray for gods to remover the demonic spirit of lust that he has...and do this and claim it that it will be done in Jesus"name..if you go and star saying who has the bigger problen you are treading aon grounds of judging and that will interfear with your walk woth christ..ask gods to heal your heart from these thoughts and the forgivness you need too for judging ....then pray and get your heart right first so that god can hear your prayers and heal your husband
