i am 16 years old, and i weigh close to 200 pounds, im 5"2, and my friends don't tell me i'm extremely thin. they just tell my other friends, am i overwieght?

umm, yah, i think so... 200 pounds is alot. your short so that makes it seen like 200 pounds is alot. if you have a lot of muscle that might wiegh alot. im almost5 feet and im 68 pounds which you cant compare to because i am extremely, very noticeably thin, and no i dont have a disorder, ive always been that way. my frend is about you height and weighs about115. were only 8th grade though. i just think two hundred is pretty much on the bigger side. not to burst your bubble or hurt feelings but.... yah, you may be overweight.

If you weigh 200 pounds, then yes. If you meant 100 pounds, it's completely average.

a 5'2" guy should weigh in the neighborhood of 118 and for a girl 110. I you work out with weights though, you can weigh more since you're carrying muscle and not fat.

Try finding a website with a BMI calculator. Enter your height and weight, and it will tell you whether or not your weight is normal for your height. If it is abnormal, do not change your lifestyle without consulting your doctor first.

try calculating your body mass index ( percentage of body fat) if you are below 25 you aren't overweight. try this website http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/
