Cute, I don't believe in Santa Claus. Santa Claus was a marketing creation. However there was a real man named ST. Nicholas who after anonymously leaving food to the poor at the doorstep, people copied started to copy his deeds. People started to leave things for other people and just said that ST. Nicholas did it, even after the man died. This turned into a tradition that somehow got turned into only giving toys to children on Dec. 25.

As for the Easter Bunny. The egg and rabbits (for obvious reasons) was considered signs of fertility. This was a borrowed from an ancient pagan belief. The coloring of the eggs is supposed to be representative of the blood of Christ. Now it is a different ball game.

By the way, I don't think there is anything wrong with the religion borrowing from pagan beliefs. People usually adapt to their environment anyway.

The Easter Bunny is an emblem it quite is a blend of the fertility rites that the Pagans practiced and the religion of the early Christian Church. well if thers someone big fat and jolly comming down my chimney, and an oversized bunny who hops around giving EGGS who he stole from a chicken, and this isnt a lie society conjered up to make their kids happy for a day, then y dont u share ur knowlegde of HOW IN THE HELL this isnt a lie with us all??? or is it coz ur actually crazy?

I have better evidence. Last Christmas I WAS Santa and I also hid Easter Eggs on Easter for my children.
So both exist. I am both.
