Is it for a good laugh? Do you find some Christians amusing? Are you feeling that God might exist?

I'm not sure what I would call myself and I don't think it matters, but often visit for amusement. What about you?

Goodness sake get a dictionary. You're either a Troll or a Zealot.

Religion & Spirituality means just that. Does not mean "Fundy Xian Rant Zone".

I've just as much right to be here with my non-Xian beliefs ... oh sorry I'll spell that out in small words.... I'm a BELIEVER, just not one who believes in the same thing as you do. WIth the same right to expect a return of the respect I give those from other faiths.

Even Atheism is a form of Spirituality and they have as much right to be here as Fundy Wackjobs.

To learn about religions, because I'm bored, want to look for those people with really bad grammar and illogical questions, etc..... Not to make fun of religions though. And, no, I don't feel God could exist. I don't rule out the possibility of spirits or something though. Oh, and lots of people asks questions aimed at Atheists. Also to let those ignorant idiots that call us evil, foolish, close-minded, etc. know that we still have morals and are still people. I dislike the people that say those thing :0( . I don't have a problem with them believing what they want as long as they don't try to impose their beliefs on us, so why should they care what we think? People take their beliefs too far. So far that they often do the exact opposite of what the religion says they should do (this applies to Atheists to). Also in case anyone has put any wrong information about Atheism or religions. Plus, it can be amusing, especially when people spell Atheist athiest. It kind of ruins the seriousness of the question or statement when that happens......

There is no purpose to Y!A other than amusement, so that's why I hang out here. Plus, I'm knowledgeable regarding Christian origins, and want to share that knowledge.

Personally, I come here because I HATE misinformation and its purposeful dissemination. This forum seems to be rife with misunderstandings about everything from science to other people's religions. I just try to put out the fires when I see them.

Actually, I find most debate on Religion and Spirituality boring, immature and unknowledgeable....

I like to stroll around in the Society & Culture forum..and unfortunately, they have Religion packed right in the middle of that category.

I would be just as happy if you all went someplace else.......

1. To refute misconceptions about atheism (and evolution).
2. To encourage rational thought.
3. To expose some of my more cloistered countrymen to opinions they don't get at chuch or home.
4. To laugh at ignorance, stupidity, and other human traits.
5. To get others to laugh too.
